Focus Business awards: atriga TOP EMPLOYER MEDIUM-SIZED for the third time in a row

All good things come in threes, as the saying goes. If you score three goals in a football match, you can be happy about a rare hat-trick. And anyone who is awarded the ‘TOP EMPLOYER MEDIUM-SIZED’ seal by Focus Business three years in a row can be justifiably proud of an extraordinary achievement. This is exactly the case for atriga, a pioneer in customer-friendly and digital receivables management.

Here, employees and management have jointly set themselves the goal of trumping this hattrick – with a fourth award next year. As far as the employees are concerned, there is no doubt about it. Their appreciation attests to their employer’s exceptional position as one of the most popular debt collection companies in Germany.

How does a medium-sized company like atriga manage to do that – and with such consistency? “If you want to achieve extraordinary things, you need a great team,” emphasises atriga Managing Director Christoph Ruoff and reveals more about the company’s recipe for success: “We strive to keep improving. That is the claim of my colleagues, who are as competent as they are committed. They enjoy working for atriga because effective teamwork without destructive pressure to perform is our top priority. This ensures that our teams can concentrate fully on the successful implementation of clearly defined goals – entirely in the interests of our clients.”

Designer Daniela Langer praises appreciation and trust

She is at work every day to ensure the optimal appearance of the company: Daniela Langer is a trained advertising photographer and studied communication design. She has worked for renowned, international clients from a wide range of industries, spent many years working abroad and has been contributing her extraordinary wealth of experience to atriga since 2020.

atriga communication designer Daniela Langer: “After many years in agencies and globally active organisations, I have found my professional home at atriga.”

In addition to the design of all printed materials including image research, selection and retouching, her tasks also include the maintenance of the website and the creation of landing pages. As the guardian of the corporate design, Langer watches over the company’s general public image and takes care of the alignment and further development of analogue and digital market communication in teamwork. In addition, Daniela Langer is a master of video editing, animation and sound recording in the area of moving images.

How does she manage to master her diverse and demanding tasks for atriga communication on a daily basis? Daniela Langer reports: “I appreciate the freedom here at atriga and the close and trusting relationship with my colleagues in the atriga team. My work, my opinion and my ideas are valued here at all levels. I have never worked in such a progressive and social company and after many years in agencies and global organisations, I have found my professional home at atriga.”

The high level wants to be maintained

Can such a high level be maintained or even improved in terms of working atmosphere and team spirit? Daniela Langer also has a clear opinion on this: “If we always remain self-critical and regularly question the quality of our work, it can be done. Especially if we keep putting the said creative ideas into practice. All the more reason to look forward to my work at atriga every day!“

Success through diligence and efficiency

atriga’s Managing Director Christoph Ruoff is delighted about the renewed award according to the strict criteria of the FOCUS editorial team: “Earning the Focus seal for the third year in a row makes us particularly proud of our great colleagues. It reminds me of a wise quote from Normandy: ‘If you succeed once, it can be by chance. If you succeed twice, it can be luck. If you succeed three times, it is diligence and efficiency’. We are working together to be voted among the top medium-sized employers in finance again next year. This will help us today and in the future to find talents and specialists who will accompany us on our growth course in the long term.”

How FOCUS Business determines the top employers in the SME sector

Focus Business, together with research partner Fact-Field, has identified the top employers in the German SME sector in 2023. For this purpose, more than 338,000 employee evaluations and 35,000 companies based in Germany were analyzed. A large-scale survey among employees in Germany is the main component of the data collection.

The survey was conducted through various channels in order to reach as many companies in Germany with at least eleven employees as possible. The results of the survey were supplemented by existing online assessments. Further details on the methodology of the survey can be found at:
