atriga personalities: Heike Hollenberg has sales in her veins

Can someone be born for a certain profession? Sounds almost esoteric, but anyone who meets Heike Hollenberg is in no doubt: this woman really has sales in her veins! Since July, Heike Hollenberg, as ‘Head of Competence Centre New Business’, has been explaining to potential atriga clients from the telecommunications, insurance, and e-commerce sectors what extraordinary solutions and services atriga has to offer them as a pioneer in customer-friendly and digital receivables management. She is literally always ‘on the road’, commuting between her home office on the Niederrhein and the company headquarters in Langen, when she is not on the way to customer meetings somewhere in the country.

Industry experience and competence in receivables management

In more than 20 years, Heike Hollenberg has gained extensive experience in debt collection and receivables management. Business development, accounts receivable management, sales control and sales management including field service – these areas have decisively influenced the competence of this dynamic power woman. Her versatile experience is rounded off by tasks in personnel management, compliance projects and customer relationship management (CRM). After training as an industrial clerk at Bergbau AG Niederrhein in Duisburg, Heike Hollenberg, who was born in the neighbouring town of Oberhausen, joined a debt collection company in 2000 after working for international companies such as Xerox. She felt particularly comfortable in sales right from the start: “I like people and always approach them openly. In addition, I always think positively – and that’s something my conversation partners appreciate,” this is how Heike Hollenberg describes her recipe for success.

This positive attitude, paired with competence, experience and commitment, consequently brought her to leading positions – among others at an online trading platform for receivables portfolios. There, as ‘Head of Retail Debt’, she sold seven-figure portfolios all over the world. Before joining atriga, Hollenberg worked as a successful sales manager and in business development at well-known companies in the industry, among others.

It was certainly not by chance that Heike Hollenberg chose this quote by the French writer Antoine de Saint-Exupéry as her leitmotif. It fits her decision to choose atriga as her new employer: “I had already taken a close look beforehand. Now I am happy to be able to work for a forward-looking research manager in all areas.
