As assistant accounting manager you will support our accounting team, especially in the area of financial and payroll accounting. In addition to dealing with creditors and debtors, you will also prepare, and process pay slips, communicate with tax advisors and report directly to the management.

your tasks

  • Responsibility of accounts receivable, accounts payable, general and fixed asset accounting
  • Staff administration and payroll accounting
  • Creation of sales tax advance returns, statistics and reports
  • Participation in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Calculation and recording of accruals and deferral entries
  • Communication with tax consultants, banks and the tax office
  • Responsibility and coordination of a smooth flow of the daily business
  • Immediate report to the management

your requirements

  • Completed commercial training, ideally training as assistant tax consultant
  • Well-founded practice-oriented knowledge of wage and sales tax and social security law
  • Very secure user knowledge in DATEV and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Ability to lead, guide and control the accounting team
  • Distinct understanding of numbers, responsible, independent and careful work
